"My sheltie mix, Mr. Jackson, can be quite a handful! He is very smart and attentive to me, but when we moved in with my family and there were more people involved, he began obsessively barking, nipping at people, and became more aggressive with other dogs. After a few weeks of consistent lessons with Ed, I learned how to keep Mr. Jackson's mind calm and submissive by implementing behavioral techniques that became an integrated part of everyday life. I now also understand why he exhibits his "naughty" behaviors and have learned ways to prevent it and correct it. I feel very confident that whenever another undesirable behavior surfaces, Ed will be there to educate me on how to work on it. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for help with managing their pet's behavior call Ed, I have shared his number with many friends and they have also been very pleased with the knowledge they gained and the results (when they do their homework!!)" - RACHEL

"Ed has been exceptionally helpful in his work with Mischa and me. I adopted my dog without knowing what I was getting into and Ed's help has been instrumental in our relationship. He taught us both how we should be walking on the leash and has made our walks all that much more enjoyable. In addition, it has been a great help to be able to leave Mischa with Ed and know that she will not only be looked after but also that I will come home to an obedient dog (or at least as obedient as she gets). I to do sessions with Ed when I have the chance and I would recommend that anyone with a dog take the time to learn how to work with theirs from Ed Díaz!" - TORI

"Ed has done a great job for us! Besides being pleasant and accommodating to work with, two things really stand out. Most importantly, our Labradoodle loves Ed and wags her tail as soon as she him drive up. Secondly, Ed is consistently reliable - he has never missed a scheduled day." - CHARLES & SALLY

"We tried several well-known programs for our small dog's behavior issues with strangers and other dogs, and Ed Díaz and his team were by far the most successful in fixing the problems. Ed was knowledgeable, professional, creative and a pleasure to work with. Plus, we now have a caring, trustworthy team for pet sitting and boarding." - KATE

"Our dog Madison loves to be taken care of by Ed. He is always available to help us out and take care of Madison when we are in a pinch and have to go out of time on short notice. We know that she loves her time with Ed because it is hard to get her to come home with us." - ROBERT & ANNA

"The "Dog Whisperer" of the lowcountry. Ed was such a big help with our 8 year old lab who had a mind of her own. We wanted her to come off the beach when we were ready to leave and after several sessions she started responding to our commands. He is patient yet firm. Soft spoken yet no nonsense and always has a smile on his face. It was a pleasure to work with Ed who in the end really trains the owner" - BARRY & ELAINE

"We called Ed for help with Lilly because she barked so much and had also take possession of the furniture. Ed was excellent and most effective with Lilly. He is truly the "Dog Whisperer" of Charleston." - PAUL & LYNN

"Ed came through our door for the first time 3 years ago, calmed our dogs immediately, and began teaching us how to do it. He helped us first with general calming and but we continue to work with him whenever anything comes up, or for dog sitting when we are really busy. One of the most wonderful things about working with Ed is learning about animal behavior. He always tells us why the dogs are doing what they are doing and explains how to work with it. He's become a great friend....and he's a darn good cook of Peruvian food...!!" - STEPHEN & SUZAN

"Ed is amazing! He is patient, knowledgable and always willing to go the extra mile to help you with your training needs. We have a very active great dane puppy, and Ed walked us through all of our frustrations and tirelessly worked with our dog to teach him how to behave! We also have completely trusted Ed with our home, leaving him with our dog several times last year when we had to travel. He worked with him diligently while we were gone, and helped out in any way he could to make things smooth for our return! He is a wonderful person, and we have learned a great deal from him!." - LUKE & LAUREN

"Ed Díaz has been helping my family with various dog behavior issues for the last three years. He has the unique ability to tell owners the psychology of what is going on in the mind of the dog. Once owners understand their animals better, they can address the issues more productively. His ability to control and lead dogs under his care with calm authority is remarkable to see." - ART & CATHY

"Edward is amazing. I have never met a trainer who works like he does. He gets inside the mind of the dog and understands the way the dog is thinking. He uses this insight to mold the animals behavior in the desired way. I highly recommend him." - TIMOTHY & PAGE

"We call him "the Cesar Millan of the East Coast". Ed Díaz has taught my dog all of the good behavior she's ever shown. He was recommended to me when I got Stella, an English/American Bulldog, almost 3 years ago. I had full intentions of owning a lazy, calm dog but Stella's genetic makeup seemingly does not allow for those characteristics; . . . this is where Ed comes in. Having Ed instill the rules of "dog" into Stella has made my life as a pet owner that much more enjoyable. From teaching her how to walk on a leash to waiting for my command to eat the food that's been placed in her bowl, Ed always surpasses my expectations. Every now and then, Stella needs a reminder on how to best act like a respectful dog and Ed is always available. Despite the fact that he is making her "work" when Stella sees Ed, she thoroughly enjoys being with him and is completely exhausted after an hour of training, which makes me a happy dog owner with an extremely happy pup!!" - MARGEAUX

"As soon as my husband and I decided to get a dog we knew we wanted to have a well trained dog and were nervous we did not know how to truly accomplish that goal. We both grew up with dogs and they were great pets but not well trained. Ed was referred to us from some of our family members and we called him shortly after getting Finley. Finley was probably only about 3 months old when we called Ed. He came over and, as much as he trained Finley, he also trained us in how to handle a puppy and Finley. Goldendoodles have a lot of personality and a lot of energy. We needed to understand how to control her in situations where guests came over or we were walking her around the neighborhood. As soon as Ed came into our home; Finley responded right away to his commands and his energy; it was amazing. Our main concerns with Finley were teaching her how to walk properly on a leash, no barking and to designate our space from her space. After just a few weeks of meeting with Ed; Finley was behaving well, sleeping in her crate at night and respecting our space. She now knows that she has to be invited onto the couch. It was the best thing we could have done in the early stages with Finley. We continue to use Ed as a resource to gain more insight on how to continue the training as Finley gets older. I would recommend Ed to anyone that is thinking of getting a dog and to anyone that already has a dog but needs some additional training. It was a great experience." - CHASE & MEGHAN

"After extensive research on the husky breed we recognized that our decision to adopt Flash Bang from Pet Helpers would involve lots of dedication to training but we were confident we could handle the undertaking. Boy, we were wrong. Without the assistance of Ed, we aren't certain we would have any fingers left to write this testimonial. After training with Ed we are able to introduce Flash to new people and animals without him being aggressive, feed him without fear of losing our body parts, and walk him on a lead without being pulled like a sled. Ed and his team have been able to assist us in training the primitive tendencies out of Flash and he loves every minute of it!" - CASEY & KATIE
